How to Apply? Term and conditions
WcK is interested in outgoing people who are of 16 years and above. The Volunteers must be psychologically prepared to live and work with people of diverse beliefs and cultural background. WcK encourage volunteers who are below 18 years of age to obtain consent from their parents or guardian. WcK however cannot able to pay the Volunteer expenses. A volunteer who is interested to serve with WcK must pay for the participation expenses as explained below
Volunteer s Responsibilities

Volunteers accomplish their volunteer work in a responsible way;

Volunteers make their travel arrangements themselves (planning their trip and organize their visa, if required);

Volunteers get sufficient insurance coverage for their travel and stay abroad

Volunteers pay expenses for travel, leisure activities and personal needs out of their own pocket money

Volunteers play an active role in the community life

QUANTO COSTA?
Volunteers are encouraged to confirm for work camp participation at least a week before the start date. We request for the full names and passport numbers of the volunteers. Two Passport-Sized photographs are needed upon arrival during the registration process at our office in Nairobi.
Voluntary Programme Cost In Summary
i) Three Weeks Workcamp— 250 Euro
ii) Two successive Workcamps- 450 Euro
iii) One month Work camp— 300 Euro
iv) Medium and Long Term Project (MLTV) - 300 Euro per month.
v) Help A School Programme (300 Euros per month)

Arrival and Accommodation Cost
vi. Transport on arrival from the Airport to Host Family s Home by Taxis - $20. (The Volunteer pays same amount ($20s) at departure from City to the Airport).
vii. Host Family on arrival in Kenya - $20 - a day per person to cater for Accommodations, food, water, among other needs.

Where does the Programme Fee go?
50% of fee:
Food and accommodation of volunteers for entire participation period
Programme development, information, and management
10% of fee:
Local travel to monitor work camps and volunteers performance
40% of fee:
Placement of Volunteers to Work camp or Projects
Supporting staffs?field expenses during local transportation
International promotional activities/Advertising and meetings
Administrative costs, Rent and maintenance of office space in Kenya
Accounting and legal services
Annual membership contributions
Programme coordination with local national and international partners
